Louisiana CCR and CDR licenses are calendar year licenses. Online license renewals open November 1, 2023 at 12:00 am CST (Central Standard Time). It will remain open until 11:59 pm December 31, 2023 (CST). Please note- on December 31, 2023 12:00 am (CST) your license will be suspended by operation of law if not paid; you shall not work as a CCR or CDR until renewed.
License renewals are due by 11:59 pm (CST) December 31, 2022 to avoid a lapse in eligibility to work.

You should receive a success message and a receipt at the end of the payment process.
No. You will not be eligible to renew online. You must mail all appropriate documentation along with your printed Invoice, Reporter Status Report and check (No cash or money orders will be accepted). You will need to contact the Board Office to ensure appropriate documentation.

A one-time use credit card may be purchased and used specifically for this transaction. Most check cashing retailers and supermarkets have such cards available. You may use option#2 on the renewal page. Please note-When you send a paper check as payment, you authorize us to clear your check electronically. Electronic payments may clear the same day we receive payment.
No. You must either pay online or mail your renewal invoice to the Board Office with a check. See note above.
All renewals received at the Board Office on or before December 31st by 11:59 p.m. (CST) will not be accessed the $50 reinstatement fee. Please note- If you have not paid your licensing fee by 11:59 pm (CST) December 31st, you are not eligible to work until your license has been renewed.
